It's difficult for me to believe that Whispers turned two years old on September 14th. It seems like just yesterday I took her home from the hospital. At least this gives my life some purpose, right? I'm joking. I have too much purpose these days. Ha.
I'm fairly certain I told the story about the the origins of the name and the first newsletter recap last year. So let's have some fun this year. I've put "whispers" and "whispers newsletter" into an AI art generator to see what we get.
Here's the "whispers" prompt. It took this in an unexpected direction to say the least.
And here is "whispers newsletter" prompt. A more appropriate direction, but still...
I'm not sure how I feel about these. The AI obviously relates whispers to women and has produced some concerning material. However, I'm not sure which set is most concerning.
Out of the eight, I think the last one might fit the newsletter the best. Though, I'm not sure why the AI spells like me. "NEWSLE"TERR."
In case you're interested, I used Open Art AI to produce these. While I disagree with using AI directly for use in projects, I do find it useful for creating advertising material and occasionally assisting with idea generation. It doesn't always do a great job, but it tries hard. Just like the rest of us. It'll be interesting to see where the future of AI goes.
Anyways, happy birthday Whispers, and cheers to many more.
