#0048 Author Life: Tax Relax

Well, the days of tax turmoil have come to and end. Yet, I remain busy. There's a surprising amount of overflow work that'll keep me busy, probably, through May. If it were tax season, this overflow would only be about a week's worth of work, but during the off season we don't work extra hours. I find it amazing how much work gets completed in those extra hours during tax season. It almost feels like we're standing still when we return to normal hours. Anywho, let me tell you about my fun part of April.

So, at some point during April, I started playing a little game called, Path of Exile 2. Though the charm is wearing of, I spent April obssessed with the game. Somehow, I managed to put 150 hours into it during the month. There's something fun about planning out a character and then building their stats. It's akin to other kinds of creative outlets, I suppose. You have a vision, and then you make it real. Here's a few screenshots to share.

Is it weird that many of my characters carry government office related names. Nah. Of course it's not weird. Anyways, pray for me, that I may beat my addiction to this game.
