#0043 Author Life: A Busy November

November was a busy month.

I’ve written a haiku to explain how it feels:

I'm busy at work

Then I'm even busier at home

This totally sucks

With tax season just around the corner, I’ve been preparing. There’s a lot to do with setting up new software, rolling forward clients, and other behind-the-scenes work.

At home, I’m trying to churn out the final novel of the Gonna Kill You series. I fear the release date might be delayed, but I’ll talk more about that in the project updates blog post.

Despite the chaos, I accomplished a great deal in November. I certainly have the results to prove it, but there’s still so much to do.

What’s most important in November is remembering that family comes first. The extra hours we toiled and troubled won’t matter when we're gone, but our loved ones will cherish the memories we shared with them forever. I’m glad to say that I took the last week of November off and spent it with my parents in Florida. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures for the most part, but here are some of the best ones I did take.
